There are several “special” tax credits or refunds you should be aware of. Most of these tax credits depend on your income level, family size, and other factors. 

Here are the tax credits you might be eligible for:

Earned Income Tax Credit: if you are a low-wage earner, this might apply to you.

Child Tax Credit: if you have children who meet certain criteria, this may apply to you.

Additional Child Tax Credit: if you qualify for the Child Tax Credit but do not receive the full amount of that credit, this may apply to you.

Senior Circuit Breaker: a Massachusetts credit for low-income seniors (home owners and renters)
